Join our research team to advance AI in healthcare.
We are actively seeking highly motivated Master's and PhD students to join our research team. Our lab focuses on developing AI models for medical image analysis, with applications in diagnosis and prognosis. If you have a strong background in biomedical engineering, computer engineering, or related fields and are passionate about AI in healthcare, we encourage you to apply.
We also welcome inquiries from motivated undergraduate students interested in working on a capstone project with our team.
Research Focus:
Development of AI models for automated medical image analysis.
Diagnosis and prognosis prediction using deep learning techniques.
Multi-modal data integration for improved healthcare outcomes.
Explainable AI and model interpretability in medical applications.
Qualifications:
Master's Applicants:
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
PhD Applicants:
Master's degree in a relevant field (exceptional Bachelor's students may also be considered for direct-entry PhD programs).
Required Skills:
- Programming skills in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques (e.g., MRI, CT, X-ray) is an asset but not required
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
What We Offer:
- Competitive funding packages and research stipends.
- State-of-the-art computational and medical imaging facilities.
- Opportunities to publish in top-tier journals and conferences.
